In 2016, the renowned Munich auction house ZISKA & LACHER was heavily robbed and defrauded by the German police. One day before the auction, they raided the auction house and confiscated 31 works of art – on the grounds that they had received a tip-off that all the works were fakes.
And this despite the fact that the entire auction was displayed on the Internet for 30 days to potential buyers. The confiscation took place without the presence of the auction house owner and, if applicable, a lawyer.
When they verified the originality of the works and realized that by admitting this they would have to make amends for the enormous material and moral damage they had caused to the auction house, they resorted to the only possible solution: they falsified the alleged forensic results. .
The owner of the auction house, Mr. Wolfgang Lacher, demanded the return of the works 7 months after the confiscation, as he had proof of authenticity. This did not happen and the artworks were in police custody for eight years.
After persistent demands by judicial authorities from Serbia to submit the works to the court to conduct comparative forensic examinations, the Germans DID NOT WANT TO SEND the artworks TO SERBIA (out of fear of the truth) – 8 years, 8 years, 8 years!
