For many decades I have tried to give gifts to cultural institutions that I felt should be in our museums and libraries.
- to the National Library
- Museum of Applied Art
- Libraries of Matica Srpska
- Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts
- Faculty of Philosophy, etc.
I have a handful of thank you notes from those institutions about all of this.
I’ll be posting one each month for the next few years.

It is possible that the Germans will DEMAND from Serbia, as in the case of the gift of 24 works of art that Sava Šaronjić gave to the Museum of Contemporary Art, to carry out a “FORENSIC” analysis in order to determine authenticity.
I fully agree with that possibility. After all, they are Germans. They have a UV lamp. They far exceed our scientific methods, and they also burn with the desire to help Serbia. When I think about it, the authenticity of the signature, seal and paper on those thank-you notes should also be determined

Posting a thank you note, for the first time.
Gifts to the Museum of Applied Arts in Belgrade from 1981
- A huge silver chandelier from the 17th century, Venice
- A huge processional silver cross from the 17th century, Venice (exhibited as part of the exhibition “CROSSES” held at the Museum of Applied Arts in 1993, p. 181)
By the way, I was neither invited nor informed about the exhibition. I had to buy the catalog from the exhibition. My name, as the donor, was not mentioned at all (as is the case with some other donors in the same catalog).

To be continued!
